FAQ

Culinary Clarity: Your Questions, Our Answers

WHAT IS BUY ONE GIVE ONE?

Every time you buy a lunch you also give a lunch to a Queensland school kid in need.

WHAT GOES INTO THE KIDS LUNCHES?

The give lunches are of the same quality as the buy lunches. A typical kids lunch would consist of items like a delicious wrap, piece of fruit, organic popcorn and a sweet treat.

HOW ARE SCHOOLS SELECTED TO RECEIVE A GIVE LUNCH

Currently The Lunch Project works with State primary schools where we have identified the greatest need. We are proactive about approaching schools, are working with local councillors and already have a waitlist of schools waiting for our lunches.

WHO GETS A LUNCH?

Each school identifies and distributes lunches to the kids who need them. This is done in conjunction with the principals, teachers, school councillors and parents.

HOW OFTEN DO YOU DELIVER?

Currently we deliver in selected postcodes every Tuesday/Thursday and Friday including school holidays. We are closed public holidays.

WHAT TIME WILL MY LUNCH ARRIVE

We deliver many lunches each day and are unable to give specific delivery times. All lunches are delivery after 9am and before 12:30pm.

CAN I CANCEL OR CHANGE MY ORDER?

Yes you can change, pause or cancel your order up until 12pm the day before deliveries.

WHO SHOULD I CONTACT IF I HAVE A COMPLAINT OR COMPLIMENT?

Your feedback is really important to us. Please contact us via a contacts page or email us at hello@thelunchproject.com.au

DO YOU CATER FOR DIETRY REQUIREMENTS AND ALLERGIES?

We offer vegetarian, gluten free and dairy free options. However trace elements of gluten and dairy may be detectable. Due to the high volume of lunches we prepare we are unable to remove or add ingredients to any lunch.
